Hi there, thanks for stopping by. I'm Ariel, the person behind “Ariel's School of Motoring”. I wanted to share a little about myself, so you know who you’ll be learning with.

My Life on the Road

To put it simply, I love driving. I’ve been a professional driver for over 10 years, and I’ve handled just about everything with wheels. I’m fully licenced for your standard car (Category B), the big rigid trucks you see on the motorways (Category C), and even the massive articulated lorries (Category C+E$).

Spending that much time on the road teaches you things you just can't learn from a book. You get a real feel for how to handle any situation, spot potential trouble long before it happens, and stay calm under pressure. That’s the real-world experience I bring to every single lesson.

A Teacher Who Gets It

Before I started teaching, a big part of my job was managing teams of people. The main thing that taught me was that everyone learns differently. There isn't one magic way that works for everybody.

So, my promise to you is patience. We’ll go at a pace that feels right for you, and we'll focus on what you need to become a confident driver. If something isn't clicking, we'll find another way to explain it. It’s all about creating a relaxed space where you feel comfortable to learn.

Family, Home, and Why Safety is Everything

I moved to Ireland nearly 20 years ago and have loved building a life here. When I’m not in the car, I’m a husband and a dad. Being a parent completely changes how you think about road safety.

The absolute priority I have for my own family's safety is the same standard I bring to my students. For me, it's personal. My number one goal is to make sure you're not just ready for the test, but that you're a safe and aware driver for life.
